Questions clients ask before getting in touch

A strategy consultancy built for organisations that move.

01How do engagements typically begin, and what does the first week look like?

Most engagements start with a scoping call, usually sixty to ninety minutes, where Helen works through the presenting problem and the context around it. If there is a fit, she proposes a structured diagnostic phase before any broader work begins. The first week of a full engagement is almost always spent on interviews and document review, not on producing outputs.

02Do you work with organisations outside the UK?

Yes. Helen has worked with organisations based in Ireland, the Netherlands, and the Gulf region, typically through a combination of remote working sessions and two or three in-person visits. Travel costs are agreed in advance and billed at cost. Time zone differences of up to four hours have not been a practical obstacle.

03What is the minimum size of organisation you work with?

There is no formal minimum. The smallest leadership team Daily Summit Lab has worked with had four people; the largest had around sixty. What matters more than headcount is whether the organisation has a genuine strategic decision in front of it and a leadership team with the authority to act on the outcome.

04Can we engage you for a single workshop rather than a full project?

Yes, though Helen will usually ask some questions first to make sure a single session is the right format for the problem. A standalone facilitated session works well when the leadership team has already done the analytical work and needs a structured process to reach alignment. It works less well as a substitute for the diagnostic work.

05How do you handle confidentiality, and do you sign NDAs?

Confidentiality is standard practice. Helen signs a mutual NDA at the start of every engagement. Client names are never used in public materials without explicit written permission. The case studies on this site describe the work without identifying the client.
